about Becky Paton
Becky Paton is a passionate artist who studied Art and Design at the prestigious Chelsea School of Art, where she specialised in the vibrant world of mosaic! Since earning her degree, she has embraced numerous exciting Public and Community Art commissions in and around her beloved hometown of Oxford, as well as in London and beyond. With a wealth of teaching experience for both adults and children, Becky has also utilised mosaic as a powerful form of art therapy in hospitals and mental health settings. Inspired by the beauty of the natural world, her designs often showcase fascinating fossils and wildlife. A regular participant in the Oxford Art Week, Becky’s work has been widely exhibited, making her an inspiring force the art community!
about Las Dunas
Our 12-acre olive estate offers stunning landscapes for hiking and biking, along with a dedicated yoga space overlooking our large saltwater pool. We provide a tranquil escape from the stresses of everyday life.
Set in the extraordinary Granada Geopark in Andalucia, the LAS DUNAS estate sleeps up to 15 in 8 bedrooms.
Retreats are held over the entire property giving guests private access to all that LAS DUNAS has to offer.
Features include a jacuzzi; salt water swimming pool with yoga deck and spectacular views of Jabalcon mountain; multiple spaces for al fresco dining; large communal kitchen and dining room; multiple bbq areas; massage treatment room; and so much more.
cave accommodation
At LAS DUNAS, we offer a sleeping experience like no other - all of our bedrooms are cave bedrooms. Cave bedrooms are a naturally comfortable temperature year round with no need for heating or air conditioning. There are doubles, twins, singles, and a triple rooms to choose from. With a range of ensuite bathrooms, private bathrooms, and shared bathrooms.
There is a comfortable living room, a library and office available, a media room and a private on site treatment room. The large communal kitchen and dining room offer refreshments and snacks throughout the day. And a large shaded patio, perfect for getting out of the hot Andalucia sun, offers comfortable sofas and alfresco dining.
Our large salt water swimming pool and bar area offers the perfect spot for cooling off in your free time or enjoying drinks while watching the spectacular sunsets.

Excursion 1: Jabalcon & the hot springs
€20 per person (min. 5 people)
Take a drive to the top of the mountain to admire the panoramic views all the way to the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Travel back down the mountain to the natural hot springs for a dip in the healing waters bubbling out of the earth at approximately 38 degrees celsius. Then up to the bar for cocktails and a spectacular sunset.
Excursion 2: Enchanted Fig Forest
€20 per person (min. 5 people)
This spectacular place has to be seen to be believed. Ancient fig trees growing out of the rock face forming a canopy of shaded spaces to explore. Many mini waterfalls and rock pools offer the perfect opportunity for an ice-cold refreshing dip before settling down for a packed lunch and drinks.
Excursion 3: Castril Village & River Walk
€30 per person (min. 5 people)
A scenic drive to the beautiful, white washed village of Castril perched high up in the Sierra de Castril. We will start with the short but jaw-dropping walk along the river gorge, followed by a typical Spanish lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we will have time to wander the cobbled streets and even take a walk up to the Peña de Castril - a natural rock formation, over 100m high with a statue of Christ at the top.
