Join us for an Art Holiday set against the stunning backdrop of this relatively undiscovered region of Andalucia. Immerse yourself in the art, the delicious food, and the luxurious comforts of LAS DUNAS, a cave house like no other. Let your creativity flourish in this unique blend of artistic retreat and opulent relaxation.
An art holiday experience like no other in the enchanting landscapes of Andalucia. Your days will be packed full with host Clive taking you to a different painting location each day. There will also be plenty of swimming, eating, drinking, exploring, more art, and lots of laughter.
In the evenings, delicious, home-cooked dishes will be served by host Allan, with wine and other drinks available. We will eat as a group, either indoors or outdoors on the large patio where we can watch the sky changing colour as the sun sets behind Mt. Jabalcon.
ABOUT BEVERLEY CHAPELHOW
Beverley studied for a fine arts degree in Blackburn graduating in 2008. She is passionate about promoting art and artists and building a network of people engaged with and developing their practice and friendships through art.
As well as being a successful artists, Beverley teaches/hosts many workshops at her gallery, Atelier Arts, located in Clitheroe.
ABOUT LAS DUNAS CAVES
This rural Andalucian gem boasts breathtaking views & incredible walks. Enjoy private use of the whole property for your holiday: 11 acres of young olive and fruit trees, & natural scrub land; a large salt water swimming pool with yoga deck & spectacular views of Mt. Jabalcon; 2 cave houses; spa jacuzzi, bbq’s; the main house with large communal kitchen; indoor and outdoor dining at custom made dining tables; comfortable outdoor seating area; outdoor kitchen; lounge; library & office; and so much more.
In your free time, head off on a hike, go on one of the excursions, relax in the jacuzzi or lounge by the salt water pool & enjoy the sun.
ACCOMMODATION
LAS DUNAS CAVES, as the name suggests, offers a sleeping experience like no other - all bedrooms are cave bedrooms. There are doubles, twins, singles, and a triple rooms to choose from. With a range of ensuite bathrooms, private bathrooms, and shared bathrooms - shared between no more than 3 people. The cave bedrooms are a naturally comfortable temperature year round with no need for heating or air conditioning.
There is a comfortable living room, a library and office available, and a private on site treatment room. The large communal kitchen and dining room offer refreshments and snacks throughout the day. A large shaded patio, perfect for getting out of the hot Andalucia sun, offers comfortable sofas and a bespoke dining table for alfresco dining.
There is a large salt water swimming pool and honesty bar for your enjoyment.
All meals are vegetarian or vegan and are prepared on site with fresh, locally grown, sourced or made produce.
